The Black Experience

Black tea – premium organic Ceylon OP, a spicy-fruity highland tea from the Ahinsa Dimbula Estate in Sri Lanka – an organic and fair trade certified estate in one of the oldest tea regions in the highlands of Sri Lanka.

Preparation

Infuse your black tea at 100°C. You should put about 12-15 grams of tea in a tea strainer for one liter of water. This corresponds to about 4 heaped teaspoons. Allow your black tea to steep for 3-5 minutes before removing the tea strainer from the water.

You can infuse the tea up to 2 times. I.e. with a can of tea that is filled with 55g, you can prepare about 75 cups of black tea.

Additional Information

The Ancient Ceylon, is a fine Ceylon tea from the highlands of Sri Lanka. The harvest time is all year round, the best qualities are harvested between January and the end of March and between June and September.

The Ancient Ceylon is light red in the cup and has a fresh, spicy and fruity taste with a slightly citrusy finish. The Ceylon tea comes from the Ahinsa Dimbula Estate, an organic and fair trade certified estate in one of the oldest tea regions in the highlands of Sri Lanka.

The goodness quality of the tea is OP, this stands for Orange Pekoe and is one of the few high quality leaf grades available from Ceylon teas.

Of course, like all the teas in the B.Tealy collection, this tea is an organic certified tea according to DE-ÖKO-039.
